 An ice-breaker for the first time you meet with a new class:

 

Students complete the stem sentences and hand their slip of paper to the teacher when they finish with their full name on it. They are invited to write truthful sentences but warned that what they write is going to be read out in class.

When every slip has been collected, the teacher picks one at random, reads the completed sentences aloud (paraphrasing a bit, if needs be, so that language mistakes are hushed up) and invites the class to guess the writer. The process is repeated until every student's sentences have been read out.

The game might be reversed, too, so that the students write stem sentences for the teacher to complete.
