'Loving Vincent' is an interesting animated film about Van Gogh and the circumstances of his death. Its originality lies in the fact that it is the first fully painted film (painted in Van Gogh's style), thus enhancing the familiarity of the viewer both with the personality of the artist and his work.
The movie can be found online and here is a link to an English subtitles file you might want to use along with it.
Students could write a review of the film after they have watched it. I greatly recommend these resources the British Council provides in connection with this type of writing.
